LNYX CREEK RACE COURSE PREP

Thanks to all who have volunteered to work our 2026 Lynx Creek Hare Scramble!

Inspecting the course last Saturday revealed significant washed out areas due to heavy rains last November; the rain also spurred heavy brush growth in a few areas.

We’re assembling a work party this coming Saturday April 18th at 8AM; to repair washed out areas with shovels, etc.

We plan to meet at 8AM at the PTR Trailer on the lower area where we have constructed the start/finish (and camping area) previously on Saturday morning (the property owner has leased the upper area to a 3rd party for roll-off dumpster storage.) For the shovel work, you should be able to drive your car (or car pool in someone’s truck) to nearby where the course needs repair.  For any brushing later, you can drive close to the area where it’s needed, or alternatively use your motorcycle if comfortable riding with loppers/trimmers. An ATV or quad to access the work areas may save some hiking.
