DESCRIPTION:WHAT: MAY 2025 CLUB MEETING \nWHEN:  6PM MONDAY MAY 5TH 2025 \nWHERE: FRANK’S MEXICAN RESTAURANT\, 410 W GOODWIN ST\, PRESCOTT \nThe May club meeting will be held at 6pm on Monday May 5th 2025 in a private dining room at Frank’s Mexican Restaurant at 410 W Goodwin St.\, Prescott (in Park Plaza next to the deli).  This will be the last meeting before our May 17th race focusing on the event preparation and planning. \nThe 2025 PTR ID cards are available for those renewing their 2025 PTR membership.  The new membership cards are being requested by our 2025 sponsors to unlock their great discounts. Frank’s Restaurant has great food and drink available in their private dining area\, so please come hungry and thirsty!  We hope you will be able to join us.

DESCRIPTION:WHAT: RACE COURSE PREP WORKDAY \nWHEN:  9AM SATURDAY MAY 10TH 2025 \nWHERE: RACE STAGING AREA BY LITTLE DEALER RV SALES\, PRESCOTT VALLEY \nPlease check your e-mail or PTR Facebook posts on Saturday morning to ensure nothing has caused the cancellation of the workday! Please click here for the staging area map and calendar event page. \nDIRECTIONS TO STAGING LOCATION:  Exit Hwy 69 in Prescott Valley south onto Truwood between Tractor Supply and Little Dealer RV Sales.  Continue 150 yds south through the gate into the dirt staging area. \nThe exact scope of work needed is still being determined; access to some areas is best via motorcycle or ATV\, other areas via car/truck and a hike\, or in the same general as staging.  Although not an official PNF workday\, long sleeve shirt\, pants\, boots and normal PPE are still strongly suggested. \nThere are expected to be additional course marking and setup volunteer opportunities on Thursday and Friday May 15 and 16th.  Please let Todd know at the May club meeting\, email or text/phone as listed in the race flyer. \nPlease bring your own water if you’re working remotely.

DESCRIPTION:WHAT: RUSS VINTON MEMORIAL RACE AT LYNX CREEK \nWHEN:  6AM SATURDAY MAY 17TH 2025 \nWHERE: RACE STAGING AREA BY LITTLE DEALER RV SALES\, PRESCOTT VALLEY \nOur 2025 race\, the “Russ Vinton Memorial Race at Lynx Creek” is now less than three weeks away.  In addition to sharing the flyer below\, we’re asking that if you’re interested in volunteering this year during the race\, that you please attend the upcoming club meeting on Monday May 5th at 6pm at Frank’s Mexican Restaurant in Prescott (next to Park Plaza Deli on Goodwin.) \nAlternatively\, you can reply to this message (club email) or send a message to prescotttrailriders@gmail.com . \nAs in the past\, we’re planning the next workday at 9AM on Saturday May 10th 2025\, staging at the race site just south of Little Dealer RV Sales on Truwood Ave in Prescott Valley.  In addition to brushing and course maintenance\, we also work on setting up start/finish gates and some of the mini course working around the normal fill site operations. \nOn Friday May 16th\, we plan to mark and ribbon the areas of the course like the motocross track (perhaps some on Thursday May 15th unless high winds forecast). If you’re interested in volunteering on these days\, please let Todd know. \nOne reminder that if you help in course setup\, you’re not eligible to compete in the race.  We hope that you will volunteer\, watch\, or compete in this year’s Hare Scramble.
