DESCRIPTION:WHAT: FEBRUARY 2025 CLUB MEETING \nWHEN:  6PM MONDAY FEBRUARY 3RD 2025 \nWHERE: FRANK’S MEXICAN RESTAURANT\, 410 W GOODWIN ST\, PRESCOTT \nThe February club meeting will be held at 6pm on Monday February 3rd 2025 in a private dining room at Frank’s Mexican Restaurant at 410 W Goodwin St.\, Prescott (in Park Plaza next to the deli).  The new 2025 PTR ID cards are in\, and will be available for those renewing their 2025 PTR membership.  The new membership cards are being requested by some of our 2025 sponsors to unlock their great discounts. \nAlso\, Frank’s Restaurant will schedule dedicated servers for us in their private dining area\, so please come hungry and thirsty!  We hope you will be able to join us.

DESCRIPTION:WHAT: TRAIL WORKDAY \nWHEN:  9AM SATURDAY FEBRUARY 8TH 2025 \nWHERE: PRESCOTT NATIONAL FOREST TRAIL 621 & CONTRERAS TRAILHEAD \nPlease check your e-mail or PTR Facebook posts on Saturday morning to ensure nothing has caused the cancellation of the workday! \nDIRECTIONS TO STAGING LOCATION:  Go west on Iron Springs Rd for 7.0 miles from the Iron Springs/Williamson Valley Rd intersection.  Turn right onto Contreras Rd and go north for 0.8 miles.  The Contreras trailhead will be on your right where the PTR trailer will be parked. The 9AM mandatory safety meeting will be held at the PTR trailer. (Staging Coordinates 34.60956\, -112.60847) \nSince the trail starts at the staging location\, you can hike to some of the closer work area\, but you would need your motorcycle to travel roughly a mile to where the significant brushing work\, and some drainage\, is needed.  There is a parallel power line right of way road that we can use to get tools in a truck or ATV closer to the work areas.  We will dispense tools there for those not carrying them in a backpack. \nPTR has hard hats\, however we are running low on glasses and gloves\, so please bring your own. A bicycle helmet is fine. \nBring your own water for the trail and for lunch.  Lunch will be provided by PTR!

SUMMARY:FEBRUARY 2025 CLUB RIDE
DESCRIPTION:WHAT:   FEBRUARY 2025 CLUB RIDE \nWHEN:  9AM (KSU) SATURDAY FEBRUARY 22\, 2025 \nWHERE: PRESCOTT NATIONAL FOREST- 7 MILE GULCH \nPlease plan to arrive by 8:30AM on Saturday February 22nd\, 2025\, for this month’s club ride staging at the 7 Mile Gulch Trailhead on Walker Rd.  A rider meeting will be held with kickstands up around 9am.  While some overflow parking is available along Walker Rd.\, an alternative is to park in the lot just south of the Costco gas station and ride 1.9 miles south on Walker Road to the 7 Mile Gulch Trailhead.  The 7 Mile Gulch Trailhead is located 2.0 miles south of the Hwy 69 & Walker Rd. (Costco) intersection on the right side of the road. \nPTR will serve lunch (Costco garlic drumsticks & pizza) at the staging location around noon after the ride.  We will not have the PTR trailer there (the parking area is limited) so please bring a chair if desired.  Also\, please bring your preferred beverages (we will have water available.)
