DESCRIPTION:WHAT: TRAIL WORKDAY \nWHEN:  9AM SATURDAY MARCH 9TH 2024 \nWHERE: PRESCOTT NATIONAL FOREST\, BUCKHORN TRAIL #130 \nPlease check your e-mail or PTR Facebook posts on Saturday morning to ensure nothing has caused the cancellation of the workday! \nDIRECTIONS TO STAGING LOCATION:  Southeast from Prescott on 69\, ~9 miles past Fain Rd and the Maverick gas station\, 1.1 miles PAST Poland Jct Rd\, ½ mile PAST MP275\, turn right on Grapevine Rd. where the HUGE AMERICAN FLAG is. PTR trailer staging is about 0.6 miles on Grapevine Rd/PNF 87A at 9211A intersection (approx. 34.431461\, -112.269414)\, but there is limited parking at this location with a corral. If you bring your motorcycle/UTV\, consider parking at about 0.1 miles in from 69 along the right side of Grapevine Rd/PNF87A. Normal 9:00AM mandatory safety meeting at the PTR trailer. Long pants & shirts\, leather boots are required. I suggest bringing your own safety glasses & gloves\, but PTR has those as well as hardhats\, all required. \nYou will need your UTV/Jeep/motorcycle (probably no trucks as the last ½ mile is rough) to travel mostly together ~1.2 miles South on PNF 9211A to 9211B intersection\, then right on 9211B about ½ miles to the dead-end intersection with 130\, where there is not yet a PNF 130 sign. \nWe will have a Jeep or UTV bring work tools & hardhats to this location and the trail work will start at this location\, walking or riding your motorcycle on the trail. Bring your own water & snacks for the trail. \nLunch is provided by PTR back at the trailer about 1:00p

DESCRIPTION:WHAT:   PTR JOINT CLUB RIDE WITH GHOST RIDERZ MC \nWHEN:  8:30AM SATURDAY MARCH 16TH 2024 \nWHERE: MILE MARKER 9.5 (HWY 74/LAKE PLEASANT RD) \nWe hope you can join us for a joint club ride with Ghost Riderz MC at 8:30AM on Saturday March 16th\, 2024.  There will be an ‘A group’\, ‘B group’ and possible ‘C group’ and a kids ride. Bring the family\, PTR is supplying the BBQ after the ride. \nThere will be a Rider Meeting at 8:30 and kick stands up at 9:00AM. This is a Google map link to the staging area  http://maps.app.goo.gl/LLV3eX7X7Q6aefcM6?g_st=ic or for those who prefer coordinates 33.83653\, -112.46790 \nDIRECTIONS- \nPlease note that its roughly a 90-minute (and 90 mile) drive from Courthouse Square in Prescott to MM9.5 (which is the distance east of Hwy 60 & 74 intersection in Morristown where Lake Pleasant Rd. begins). \nTake Hwy 69 south to I-17; head south and take exit 232\, New River Rd\, right towards exit Lake Pleasant. Turn right on Hwy 74 and continue 14.1 miles to Mile Marker 9.5.  See map screenshot below of the staging/parking areas.  (NOTE: Hwy 74 is also known as Lake Pleasant Rd aka Morristown New River Hwy aka West Carefree Hwy.)
