DESCRIPTION:WHEN:  Four Riding Days- Wednesday March 11 through Saturday March 14 2020 \nWHERE: Moab Utah \nCAMPING/ACCOMMODATIONS: \n\nCampground: Archview RV Resort & Campground (100 ft from Sovereign single-track trail)\nHotel: Anything in the north side of town\nFree/Open/Primitive Camping: Willow Springs Rd = BLM 378 (decent cell phone coverage!!)\n\nHeading North on Hw 191\, approx. 1.5 miles North of Archview RV Resort\, turn right (East) onto Willow Springs Rd (= BLM 378)\nAlternatively: ~1.8 miles North of Hw 313 on Hw 191 turn right (East)\nStephen Bruder will arrive early & reserve a camp-spot and text details\n\n\n\nRIDING PLAN: \n\nDay 1 (Wednesday 11th): A dual sport ride; g.\, White Rim Road (Difficulty 0.5/5)\nDay 2 (Thursday 12th): Enduro Loop in the white wash riding area (Difficulty 2.5/5)\n\nMany ”interesting” side-trails available and a sand dune in the middle\n\n\nDay 3 (Friday 13th): Sovereign Single-Track Trail (Difficulty 3/5)\n\nOption: Sovereign ATV loop (Difficulty 1/5)\n\n\nDay 4 (Saturday 14th): Two possible options\n\nOption 1: Five Miles of Hell (Difficulty 5/5) about a 15 mile loop\nOption 2: Cane creek to Behind the rocks (Difficulty 3/5) a very scenic 35 mile ride\n\n\n\nOHV REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: \nPlease note that the reciprocal OHV permit agreement between Utah and Arizona (and other state) ended on December 31st\, 2019.  Under the new 2020 rules\, you must now obtain a Utah OHV permit to ride off road there. DESCRIPTION:PTR’s January trail work day is Saturday January 18th 2020 at 9am and will stage in the gravel parking on the left as you enter Wilhoit on Hwy 89.  Due to limited parking at trail 107/FR72 intersection\, please plan to ride over from the staging area.  Tools will be ferried to the work area from the PTR Trailer at the staging location. A map of the staging and work details follow below. DESCRIPTION:When: Saturday November 16th at 9:00am (kickstands up) \nStaging Area Coordinates:  34.463103\,-113.230216 (paste into Google Maps\, etc.) \nDirections to Staging Area:  \n\nTake Iron Springs Rd (Cty Rd 10) west from Prescott for 24 miles\nTurn right onto Kirkland Valley Rd and follow for 33 miles (becomes Bagdad Rd\, Yava Rd\, & AZ 96) to mm 4\nTurn left onto AZ 97 and follow 7.7 miles to mile marker 159 and turn left into old gravel pit\n\nThis month’s club ride features a 40 mile loop through scenic desert and will stage from an old gravel pit on Hwy 97 at mm159.  The planned route heads north towards Bagdad\,  circles around the mine and other points of interest before returning.  An optional\, more challenging loop\, will also be marked for those interested. A cookout will follow the ride.
