SUMMARY:August 2022 Club Ride
DESCRIPTION:What:  Camping (optional) & Club Ride \nWhen:  9AM Saturday August 27th\, 2022 \nWhere: CR73 (Perkinsville Rd) & Kaibab FRS 110\, 9 miles south of Williams GPS:  35.144380\, -112.142138 \nDirections: Take 89 north to I-40\, then east to Williams exit 161 and follow Rte 66 to S. 4th Street.  Turn right (south) on 4th St/CR73 for 7 miles\, then left on Fire Rd 110 and look for PTR banner and trailer. \nWe hope you will be able to join us for a 35 mile\, flowing\, club ride in the cool pines of the Kaibab NF.  The planned ride is two-track with a few rocky sections and is scheduled for 9AM to provide time to drive up on Saturday morning if not camping Friday night.  PTR will be grilling burgers and dogs after the ride with refreshments. \nThe targeted (dispersed) camping area coordinates are (35.144380\, -112.142138) although the area is first come\, first served so we may be slightly east on FRS 110 based on availability. Shown in PDF link below. \nWhile we try to stage in the same area\, the coordinates shown are at the intersection of Perkinsville/CR73/South 4th Street and Kaibab FR 110. A google navigation link https://goo.gl/maps/6MxpvXZYnEU9fE5N8 \nSeveral PTR members plan to camp Friday (and possibly Saturday) night.  The location shown should accommodate larger rigs;  despite significant rain 24 hours prior\, the camping area was only slightly muddy with a rock base (although other areas nearby had some standing water.) \nPlease remember check your e-mail and the PTR FB site for any last-minute location updates before heading up on Saturday morning.  We plan to attach a GPS file of the planned ride route to the e-mail notification of this ride. \n2022-08-27 Club Ride \n
