Trail Work Day

WHAT:    Lynx Creek Course Prep Trail Work

WHEN:   Saturday May 7 & 14th 2022 @ 8AM

With only two weekends in May before the May 21st race, we’re looking for volunteers to help with brushing and other course prep activities on the Lynx Creek Hare Scramble course. While course routing details are being confirmed, we expect to need brushing along segments of the course as well as some trail improvements. We plan to meet at 8am on both May 7 & 14th in the area past the gate at the south end of Truwood Drive below Little Dealer Little Prices RV shop.

Volunteers with ATV or UTVs are needed to transport tools to the work areas. Additional details around the work plan will be discussed at the May Club meeting.  If you are able to participate, we would appreciate you letting us know by e-mail at prescotttrailriders@gmail.com which Saturday you’re available and if you plan to bring an ATV/UTV.

Please remember that if you plan to race this year’s event, you won’t be allowed to help with course preparation work (as much as we’d appreciate your help!)

Please check your email or Facebook on Saturday morning to make sure that no weather/fire/flood/pandemic or whatever unknown condition has caused a cancellation or location change of the workday! Please click on the link below for more details.

WHAT:    Lynx Creek Course Marking

WHEN:   Friday May 20th 2022 @ 8AM

We are looking for volunteers to assist with staking and marking the course for the race, installing ribbons around the Motocross track, and any last minute preparation activities. We may also erect start and finish line easy-ups if winds and weather permit.

We plan to meet at 8am on Friday May 20th at 8am in the area past the gate at the south end of Truwood Drive below Little Dealer Little Prices RV shop. While some areas of the course are reachable by ATV/UTV others are reached best by bike.

Additional details around the work plan will be discussed at the May Club meeting.  If you are able to participate, we would appreciate you letting us know by e-mail at prescotttrailriders@gmail.com and if you plan to bring an ATV/UTV.
