June 2021 Dolores Colorado Ride
June 24, 2021 - June 26, 2021
Our friend in San Juan County Colorado have invited us to join them on June 24, 25 and 26 to ride in the Dolores Colorado area. They have confirmed that the first day will be in the Mancos, Echo Basin area and will include a combination of single-track and two track suitable for a C-rider. The Saturday ride may include trails in the Rico area such as Calico, Priest Gulch, Eagle Peak, Johnny Bull, Loading Pen, Twin Springs, Stoner Mesa, etc. and are B-rider level trails with bailout options and breathtaking high-altitude scenery. The details of the Friday ride are being finalized.
Note that you will need to have a CO OHV sticker ($25)(https://cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pages/RegistrationsOHV.aspx) and a USFS approved spark arrestor. Ensure that you are jetted for 7k to 13k ft (or have TPI or EFI) as we will be at elevation.
The availability of a RV dry camping area in the North end of Dolores which is adjacent to the river is being researched.
